Track 11. Go where You go

An old song, with maybe too many over-used images, but which I think fits with the overall theme. I like high and lonely places, but have problems looking down – which in a way makes them more exciting.

I will go where you go through the valleys and the mountains
I will go where you go through the day-time and the night
Through the hard times and the easy, the darkness and the distance
I will go where you go, through the shadows to the light

I will walk where you walk by green pastures and still waters
I will walk where you walk in the burning desert heat
In the face of disillusion, place my feet within your footprints
I will walk where you walk, I will still seek your company

I will climb where you climb though the path is steep and stony
I will climb where you climb to a high and lonely place
Where I fear to slip and stumble, take my hand I will not look down
I will climb where you climb, one day
I will come to see your face
